Remembering Master "Doc Williams"

We finished our October 2024 Testing and Promotion ceremony by remembering and honouring a key figure in the early years of Korean Martial Arts here in the UK and abroad.

Some of you will know Master David Williams, widely known as "Doc", and some will be too young to remember this great martial arts practitioner.

For those who are unfamiliar with Master Doc he was one of Master Philips first White belts who made his way through the ranks to 8th Dahn KJN.

Far more than just a practitioner, Master Doc was also a key part of the early management and development of instruction here in the UK and was Master Philips right hand man for many years before heading off to Canada and leading in instruction across the water.

Sadly Master Doc passed away recently and so we were grateful to be joined by Rachel, his wife, and very proud to be able to honour Master Doc with this award to 9th Dahn Master within Han Guk Mu Sool® from Master Philip D Holmes on behalf of the Association.
